Key points: 85% to 95% of de novo DLBCL patients express PD-L1, primarily on myeloid cells, and PD-L1 correlated with macrophage and STAT3 expression. PD-L1 did not identify high-risk patients in de novo DLBCL, and may be associated with better prognosis in some patients.
