Lymphoma Coalition (LC) and Women in Lymphoma (WiL) are pleased to announce a new strategic partnership dedicated to transforming the landscape of lymphoma and CLL care. By combining LC’s global network of patient advocacy organisations with WiL’s international community of expert clinicians, this collaboration aims to ensure that clinical education is deeply informed by the patient experience and advocates have access to the latest credible care information.
While clinicians are at the forefront of medical advancement, patients and care partners are the primary stakeholders in the outcomes of those advancements. This partnership seeks to bridge the communication gap, fostering a "two-way" educational flow:
Empowering Clinicians:
Providing WiL members with connections to patient organisations and real-world evidence and insights into patient priorities, quality-of-life concerns, and accessibility barriers.
Strengthening Advocacy:
Equipping LC member organisations with clinical perspectives to bolster their local knowledge, lobbying, support, and patient-education initiatives.
This milestone represents a mature next step for WiL, an organisation whose global growth has been actively championed from its inception by regional clinicians and advocates.

By bringing these global networks together, leadership from both organisations looks forward to a more integrated approach to healthcare education.

About Lymphoma Coalition
Lymphoma Coalition, a worldwide network of patient groups with a full or partial focus on providing support to patients with lymphoma, was formed in 2002 and incorporated as a not for profit organisation in 2010.The need for a central hub of consistent as well as reliable current information was recognised as well as the need for lymphoma patient organisations to share resources, best practices, and policies and procedures. With this in mind, four lymphoma organisations started LC. Today, there are over 100 member organisations from over 55 countries around the world.

About Women in Lymphoma
Formed in 2019, Women in Lymphoma (WiL) is a global collaborative alliance of over 2,000 lymphoma clinicians, researchers, and educators across 87 countries. Supported by a 26-member Steering Committee spanning 12 countries, WiL is dedicated to advocating for greater leadership, visibility, and professional advancement of women in lymphoma practice, education, and research globally. The alliance proudly includes 10–20% male allies who actively support gender equity and leadership development in the field.
To achieve its mission of inspiring and empowering the next generation of leaders, WiL drives several key global initiatives:
- WiLing Wednesdays Webinar Series: A flagship educational initiative featuring expert-led scientific webinars, case discussions, and mentorship sessions that provide an accessible international platform for networking and visibility.
- Conference Metrics & Gender Equity Mapping: Ongoing data collection and analysis of gender representation at major hematology congresses to understand disparities in speaker roles and advisory boards, providing data-driven insights to promote equitable participation.
- WiL Academy: An in-person educational and leadership development program combining scientific education and mentorship, specifically designed to support emerging leaders in regions with limited access to specialised training.
- Global Mentorship & Networking: International frameworks connecting junior and senior professionals to support long-term career growth and sustainable leadership pathways.
- Advocacy & Research on Gender Equity: Utilising surveys and publications to raise awareness about structural barriers in hematology research and advocate for systemic change.
